Alaska
Family vacation in Alaska included: flying around Mt McKinley, landing on a glacier, deepsea halibut fishing, eating lots of fresh seafood, Denali national park, visiting the Turners on their island and staying in their home, driving the Kenai peninsula, running the summer solstice 4 miler race in Anchorage, seeing wild moose, and visiting the Alaska aquarium and zoo!
Port Aransas Beach Trip
Once we found out mid-April that Micah would be deploying in June we began packing the fun in! We took a quick beach trip to Port Aransas about 3 hours from San Antonio. We had a great time. We ate out, stayed in a hotel, swam at the pool, and spend plenty of time on the beach!
Utah
We had the most wonderful time in Utah (minus Micah chopping his fingers off while we were out camping in the Unitas). Micah stayed for ten days and Juliet and I stayed for two weeks. All the siblings were home so we got lots of family time and also got to see lots of friends. It was also fun for Naomi and Juliet to really get to play together for the first time. They spent hours playing house :)
Micah's accident led to extreme night hiking, an ambulance ride, and an ER visit, but I think he is stronger for it! Thankfully he still has 10 fingers.
Baby #2
Even though I'm already 18 weeks, I guess baby should get to make their blog debut...
As far as I can tell my pregnancies have been similar. I have been sicker longer with baby #2 and also have I've found it more difficult to have to cook for others, something I didn't have to do with Juliet.
Sickness aside we are so excited for this baby!
