NC comes to TX!

My mom and grandma came down for a nice four day visit!  They braved the heat, ate Mexican food and BBQ, walked the river walk and rode the tour boat, swam, baked, visited Morgan's Wonderland, went to an ultrasound to see baby #2, and spent endless hours playing with Juliet! Thank you for visiting us!

July birthdays

So I had a surprise party!  Thank you, Caroline!

And we all got together on my dad's birthday, only missing Micah, for dinner at Limones!

Visiting Virginia and Hickory

We took a quick trip up to visit my grandparents.  Juliet enjoyed helping in the garden, serving "tea", riding the "deer", eating, picking blueberries, and exploring all the trinkets in my grandparents' house. 

Asheville for a while

Since Micah is gone Juliet and I are just enjoying some travel time. We are hanging around Asheville for the next few weeks and Juliet is LOVING all of the extra Abue and Granddaddy attention! She has been doing lots of reading and playing with Abue and the Tourist baseball game and tree climbing with granddaddy!

Mexico

I snuck in a relaxed trip to Mexico to visit some friends!  It was wonderful to just hang out wit no agenda and speak some Spanish! My friend Sarah from NC was also there.  We stayed with Silhi and Moi and just participated in their week's activities.  The ladies all got our nails done, got haircuts, and even hiked up Tepoztlan!  Moi also to me to his work to have an ultrasound done to find out the gender of baby but the cord was between baby's legs and the doctor could not see the gender.
