Ice hockey

Micah and I have been becoming more involved with the youth group at our church, and therefore Juliet is too :). Tonight we went with the youth to the San Antonio Rampage hockey game!

2014 garden

Plaanting season begins in march in Texas. Crazy. Anyway, we got our garden mostly planted last week. Hopefully, come summer we will have our very own tomatoes, poblano peppers, bell peppers, tomatillos, strawberries, zucchini, blackberries, jalapeños, carrots, okra, green peas, cilantro, mint, basil, rosemary, and thyme. 

Nueces trail race

Micah and I ran a 15.5 mile trail race on Saturday. It was a looong day...woke up at 3am to make it to the race location in another town, check-in, with a race start at 7am.  But once we got the early part of the morning over both Micah and I had a great race. It was a very hilly course, and true to Texas it was very rocky, but we very much enjoyed the beautiful scenery and views in hill country.  

We ran the race with some of Micah's co-workers. Micah beat us all and I did not get last place out of our group :)
